By Dan on Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Where Have I Been?

Where Have I Been?

By Dan on Friday, December 12, 2008

Well, I was doing a great job posting there for a while, and then all of the sudden stopped. Some people wondered if I had fallen off the face of the earth (like my family). By Dan on Wednesday, November 19, 2008

I have a Seminary buddy. His name is Randall. We met during orientation just before we began our first year. We got to talking, and asked him what he was taking. We were in the same classes. Even our electives were the same. I told him that I do better in school if I have [...]

Celebrating a Scholarship

Celebrating a Scholarship

By Dan on Thursday, August 21, 2008

Journal: Tuesday, 8/19/08

Two Years Down, One to Go!

Two Years Down, One to Go!

By Dan on Sunday, July 13, 2008

I’ve finished my second year. I am starting to count down the months and credits that I have left in order to graduate. I am very excited. May of 2009 is circled on my calendar. My wife and I are planning a cruise to celebrate (Thanks government stimulus check)!
My grades this year were great. All B+’s [...]

About Me

Welcome to Church and tea! My name is Dan. I’ve been married to Cindy for 9 years. We have two boys, 7 and 3 years old. I am a Florida native and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from the University of Florida and a Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. This site is called churchandtea simply because I am a United Methodist Pastor and I love sweet tea. I often find myself trying to solve the world’s problems over a glass of sweet tea. Feel free to pour yourself a glass and join in the discussion!

Anniversary!

Cindy and I will celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary in 5 months and 28 days.
